Short version: this site doesn't run analytics, doesn't set tracking cookies, and doesn't have a contact form that sends your details anywhere. The long version is below, because "trust us" isn't really an approach we'd apply to your data any more than to your codebase.
What this site collects
Nothing, directly. chopa.dev doesn't run analytics or advertising scripts, doesn't set cookies of its own, and doesn't ask you to fill in a form. The "hello@chopa.co" and phone links on this site open your own email client or dialer — anything you send that way goes directly to us as an ordinary email or call, the same as if you'd looked up our details anywhere else. It isn't captured or logged by the website itself.
What our hosting provider collects
Like any website, the infrastructure that serves these pages generates standard web server logs — things like IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. That's normal operation for a static site, not something we've added on top, and we don't use it to build a profile of you or track you across visits.
If you email or call us
Whatever you tell us — your name, company, project details — is used only to respond to you and, if we start working together, to run that engagement. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to third parties for marketing. If you'd rather we deleted a past conversation, email us and we will.
Client projects
This policy covers chopa.dev, the marketing site. Data handling for products we build for clients — what a client's own application collects from its users — is governed by that client's own privacy policy and the contract between us, not this page.
Your rights
Depending on where you're writing to us from, data protection law — South Africa's POPIA, the EU/UK's GDPR, or an equivalent — may give you the right to ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Given how little this site collects, that's usually a short conversation. Email hello@chopa.co and we'll sort it out directly, not through a support queue.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, a contact form, or anything else that changes what this site collects, we'll update this page and the date at the top — not bury it in a changelog nobody reads.
