Questions worth answering upfront.

Everything below is a question a real client has actually asked. If yours isn't here, ask us directly — we reply within one working day.

What does Chopa do?

Chopa is a software solutions studio. We design, engineer and ship products, cloud platforms, AI tooling and systems integrations for teams that need real, working systems — not prototypes or slide decks. Our five core areas are product engineering, cloud & platform, data & AI, systems integration, and long-term support & scale.

Where is Chopa based, and do you work with clients remotely?

We work with clients remotely by default and have delivered projects across multiple time zones. Discovery and sprint reviews are done over video call; day-to-day collaboration happens async through your existing tools.

What size companies do you work with?

From funded startups shipping a first product to established companies untangling a decade of legacy systems. What matters more than company size is whether the problem is real and the team is ready to move at a two-week cadence.

How much does a typical project cost?

It depends on scope, but every engagement starts with a fixed-price, two-week Sprint Zero (discovery, architecture and a costed plan) before any larger commitment. That plan gives you a real number — and it's yours to use even if you build with someone else.

How long does a typical engagement last?

A focused product build usually ships a first production version in four to eight weeks. Platform migrations and AI systems vary more with scope. Many clients stay on afterward for ongoing support — our average client tenure is seven years.

Do you have a fixed tech stack?

No, deliberately. Different problems need different solutions — a validation-stage product and a decade-old platform migration don't get the same answer just because we're comfortable with it. We start from the problem, your team's existing systems, and what your engineers will actually maintain after we're gone, then choose the tools that fit. See our approach for how that plays out project to project.

Who owns the code and IP once the project ships?

You do. Everything we build is delivered with full ownership transferred to you, documented well enough that your own engineers — or a different vendor — can pick it up without us.

Can we start with a small project before committing to something larger?

That's exactly what Sprint Zero is for — a fixed-scope, two-week engagement that gives you a real deliverable and a clear sense of how we work, before any longer commitment.

Do you offer ongoing support after launch?

Yes — Deep Support is our ongoing engagement model: monitoring, on-call, defined SLAs, and quarterly roadmap reviews. Most of our client relationships are measured in years, not project cycles.
