Cloud & Platform
Infrastructure that stays quiet.
Most infrastructure problems aren't visible until they're expensive: a deploy that takes an engineer's whole afternoon, a cloud bill nobody can explain, an outage with no clear owner. We build platforms that are boring in the best way — deploys that just happen, alerts that mean something, and a bill that tracks usage instead of neglect.
What's included
Cloud migrations
Moving off a data center, off a single point of failure, or off a provider that's stopped fitting your growth — done in stages you can roll back, not a weekend cutover you pray works.
Container platforms & orchestration
Right-sized for your actual traffic, not a reference architecture copied from a conference talk. We've talked teams out of container orchestration they didn't need yet, too.
CI/CD pipelines
From commit to production without a human copying files around. Tests that catch real regressions, not flaky suites everyone learns to ignore.
Observability & cost control
Dashboards and alerts tied to what actually breaks user experience, plus a clear read on what every service costs — so scaling decisions are made with numbers, not guesses.
Frequently asked
Do you require us to move to a specific cloud provider?
No. We build on whichever provider you're already using or planning to use, and will tell you honestly if switching isn't worth the migration cost — sometimes the right call is optimizing what you already run.
Can you take over an existing platform someone else built?
Yes, and it's a large share of what we do. We start with an audit: what's fragile, what's undocumented, what's one departed engineer away from being unmaintainable. Then we stabilize before we optimize.
How do you actually reduce cloud spend without hurting reliability?
Mostly by finding the gap between provisioned and actual usage — over-sized instances, orphaned resources, inefficient data transfer — and by right-sizing autoscaling rules against real traffic patterns instead of static headroom. Reliability work and cost work usually point the same direction.
What does an engagement look like month to month once the platform is live?
Ongoing platform work is typically covered under our support and scale engagement: monitoring, incident response, and a running backlog of infrastructure improvements prioritized against your actual roadmap.
